Debra DrelichLMSW, CMC, CADDCT
Founder & President

Debra Drelich, LMSW, CMC, CADDCT, founder and president of New York Elder Care Consultants, is a NYS licensed social worker and has been a leader in the field of geriatrics for over 30 years. She has devoted her career to caring for older adults, their caregivers and guiding others in the industry.

Debbie received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Hunter School of Social Work and two post master’s certificates in individual treatment and in health care management. She is also a certified Health Coach, and completed her training at the Institute for integrative Nutrition. Debbie is a Certified Dementia Trainer, by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, and  is a certified Care Manager by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers and is a Fellow of the Leadership Academy of the Aging Life Care™ Association.

 

Debbie has served as the President of the Aging Life Care™ Association‘s NY Chapter, and  on the Executive Board of the  Aging Life Care™ Association and of Sharp Again Naturally.

IIana Gordon, LMSW
Care Manager

lIana Gordon has  dedicated herself to caring for seniors for over twenty years  at multiple  social service agencies serving the elderly in NYC . She is a  passionate advocate  who assists  seniors and their families to maintain their independence by supporting their unique situation. IIana has enjoyed working as a Geriatric Care manager with NY Elder Care Consultants for over three years and her connection to Debra the founder who was her instructor and mentor goes back many years. 

 

IIana is a certified Dementia Care specialist, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She has a BA from Stern College, Yeshiva  University, a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work  from New York University, and a Post Masters certificate in geriatric care management from the Brookdale Center on aging of Hunter College. Ilana has enjoyed working as a Geriatric Care manager with NY Elder Care Consultants for over six years.

                         

          
                        Rochelle Friedlich,
                          ESQ, LMSW, LP 

                              Care Manager   
Rochelle Friedlich,   is a NYS licensed social worker who has worked with passion in the field of geriatrics for 15 years. She has worked in two community based organizations, supervising teams of social workers, and has served as a facilitator of a caregiver support group, in addition she completed a 9-month training prerequisite for professional chaplaincy and served as Board Chair for ESCOTA . (East Side Council on the Aging) for 10 years, and is currently a Board member for its successor organization,UIC (Uptown Interagency Council).

 

Prior to her career change to geriatrics, Rochelle practiced law for 15 years, after receiving her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

 Rochelle received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the NYU School of Social Work and holds a license to practice psychotherapy based on her training at Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy.
